Many people mistake DRL for Low. A good test to be sure Low Beams are on, press button for High Beam (default is K key). AI traffic will slow and stop when you switch on hazards. Even when you're fully inside a receiving yard backing a trailer into 'the box' and you switch on your hazards, traffic on the road outside that yard will stop and then begin honking.
TruckerKid Sep 1, 2015 @ 8:15pm. The low and high beams are seperate key commands, pressing the "L" key first enables parking lights, pressing it again will enable low beams and pressing it a third time will turn them off completely. Pressing "K" while low beams are on will enable high beams.
