I think it's better for play DMC3 first. The BEST order is DMC3 => DMC4 => DMC5. You can play DMC5 first alone, and I'm sure that you would still enjoy it cause the amazing system combat. But I doubt that you will enjoy the story, because the story of DMC5 itself doesn't make sense if this don't have DMC3 and DMC4 plot background.
The Lazy Order: 3, 4, 5. Pros: You skip the aged DMC1 and get to the ones that have the more important story beats as well as the deeper mechanics. DMC5 even summs up all the other games for you in a few sentences. Maybe watch 1 as a Youtube Summary after playing 3. Cons: You will miss the beginning of the series.
Story is unfortunately pretty skippable (par for the course in the series), you don't need to have played the others to enjoy this one. That said, 3 and 4 have extremely similar playstyles to this one so if you like it, check those out.
Yeah, just google the driver number and it should show up as the first result on Nvidia's website. Download it and install it. If you have GeForce it might say "You need to update". just ignore that till whatever they broke gets fixed for DMC5 and use the older driver. Update: So far it seems better.
In terms of story and reveals in the intended order that I would recommend, you should just go 1-2-3-4-5 If you want to play it in chronological order you’d play 3-1-4-2-5 but that would make the gameplay feel horrible as you’d go from 3 (which people consider the best) to 1 (which is alright but it’s the first game so it’s obviously going to be less in-depth) to 4 (personal favourite
An easy combo to try when surrounded by a bunch of enemies is: jump above them -> wire snatch 1 of them -> do a few air combo hits -> jump off of them -> suspend yourself in the air with gun fire a bit -> wire snatch the next enemy -> air combo them a few times -> jump off of them -> repeat.
