I can't seem to find any DIY for the mk6 anywhere on the internet ( been looking for hours and days now.. If anyone wonders, I have a CBAB engine prod. date is 10.2008 (09), it is indeed a mk6 model - Europe version.

Just do a google search for it. BTW, you need the 10mm plugs for the engine and the coolant plugs are 12mm. Good luck and hope you can get rid of that pesky code for good with this procedure. EDIT: TDI Allen did a writeup on how to change the 4 wire glow plug harness if you decide to change yours.

Fit a MK4 upper rad hose with sensor fitting part number 1J0121087A and add a MK2 golf 2 pin black coolant temp sensor, splice MK1/2/3 dash sensor signal to one of the pins and earth the other pin:
